Testimonials
itBegins has provided back up support for when little things go wrong and design services to improve my site www.ifabonus.co.uk. They have taken a great load off my mind - as well as dramatically improving the site! Highly recommended!

Still Here!
Posted on February 20, 2009
We are still here at itBegins, but there has been little time to update the blog. As everyone knows, PostNuke is now called Zikula, and there have been many changes at the Zikula project recently. I'm also proud to say that I am now a full voting member of the Zikula Software Foundation Board, which brings its own responsibilities.
More news very soon.
Long Overdue Update
Posted on April 16, 2008
It's been a long time since I posted an update here, so this is here to rectify the situation. You may be interested to learn that we've reduced the cost of our entry level Bronze Support Service to £20/month. This of course applies to all existing customers as well as new customers.
Further to this, the special offer on upgrades to PostNuke 0.8 is still on. You can take up on this offer (a free PostNuke upgrade when purchasing 6 months of any support contract - see this post for terms and conditions).
Lastly, in PostNuke development land, we're waiting for 2 release blockers to be fixed before we release an RC4, and very shortly after that a .8 final. Exciting times!
January at itBegins
Posted on January 17, 2008
January. Usually a time where everyone tries to recover from the holidays is fortunately a little more productive both at itBegins and with the PostNuke project. On the itBegins side, I am working on a number of exciting projects for different clients which will hopefully result in some new modules to release to the PostNuke community. Also, the special offer mentioned in the previous article is still open, both for RC2 and the upcoming RC3. That brings us on to PostNuke...Special Offer (PostNuke 0.8 RC2)
Posted on December 18, 2007
PostNuke 0.8 RC2 was released last week, which takes us one step closer to a new dawn for the PostNuke CMS. In celebration of this, and the new name that PostNuke will be unveiling some time in the New Year, I'm offering a special offer to those people running PostNuke websites. The offer is as follows: If you purchase one of itBegins' Support Services and pay for 6 months in advance, I will upgrade your PostNuke .76x website to 0.8 for free* (usually billed at around $150). This is in addition to all the usual benefits of a Support Service, namely the included consulting hours, free email support and with some plans, phone support. * Restrictions apply, please see the extended text.Tagging Module
Posted on October 12, 2007
In the menu on the right, you may have noticed that a link to 'Tagger' has appeared. Tagger is a module based on the PHP Tag Engine by Alex King, integrated into PostNuke with a few modifications.
New website

Welcome to the most recent incarnation of itBegins. We've moved mainly to static content now - you'll find information on our services and PostNuke developments here, so please feel free to take a look.
This blog will hopefully be updated fairly regularly, keeping you up to date on our latest projects, PostNuke development and some hints and tips on web design in general.
