Tagging Module

Posted on October 12, 2007

In the menu on the right, you may have noticed that a link to 'Tagger' has appeared. Tagger is a module based on the PHP Tag Engine by Alex King, integrated into PostNuke with a few modifications.

Tagger has been developed for use on Transport and Environment's website, but they have kindly allowed me to release the project under the GPL to the PostNuke Community.

While the module needs some cleaning to be run on any generic PostNuke site (I'll do this soon), it does work and is in use both here and on Transport and Environment.

More soon... Oh and one last thing, this module is .8 only I'm afraid.

Perfect

Perfect. That is exactly what I am looking for. Does it you the Categories-module? Could I take a look into the current development of the tagging-module? Do I find it in the NOC?

Thank you.

Curious

Where do I find the link to tagger? Sounds very interesting. And yes, does it use the categories module. Does produce clouds. How does it work? How is different from the PHP Tag Engine? Would love to hear some more.
